OUR STORY
How we started
We are a group of former students, parents, teachers, and volunteers that have joined together to help support the SkillsUSA students at the Center of Applied Technology - South, in Edgewater, Maryland.
The CAT-South SkillsUSA Alumni Supporters was founded in 2011 by Michelle Dugans and Bryan Granger as a way to provide students with the opportunity to network among peers who have successfully navigated into a career through the training offered at The Center of Applied Technology South in Edgewater Maryland.
With its current organizational structure, students and alumni now have the ability to meet and gain the necessary experiences needed in today's competitive industries by sharing their experiences of success.

SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel. SkillsUSA's mission is to empower its members to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens.
